Low Content Wolfdog: 75% Malamute, 12.5% German Shepherd and 12.5% wolf
Rescued from WY Animal Control
In 2016 Cowboy was found roaming the streets of a small town in northern Wyoming. Their Fish and Game department deemed him to be a wolfdog and under the state's strict ban on all wolfdogs they gave the local animal control a very brief period of time to either euthanize him or have him transported out of state. Through a network of husky and wolfdog owners we were contacted for placement and Cowboy came to live at Indigo Mountain. DNA tests have confirmed that the WY Fish and Game was correct. He is a very low content wolfdog.
This wild child now lives with Oakley while we work to make him adoptable. He is very friendly, loving and playful with everyone.
